Today, the Cincinnati Bengals and Andy Dalton have agreed on a 6 year 115 million dollar extension. This may come as a surprise to some people because Andy Dalton isn't considered one of the better quarterbacks. We have seen quarterbacks such as Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, and Tony Romo get their 100 million dollar contracts but all of those Quarterbacks have had success in the postseason or has been carrying their team for years now.
Andy Dalton is in the NFL game manager school where it's let the run game and defense win the game but just don't mess it up. We have seen other quarterbacks also in the same school such as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith and super bowl champion Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
The reaction of this contract will be that the Bengals made a bad deal because Andy Dalton isn't good enough to get the 100 million dollar contract. Because the Bengals roster is full of talent and many believe that this team could make a deep run in the playoffs if they had a better quarterback, this upcoming season we proof whether or not Dalton is worth the 115 million dollar contract.
What do you think, does Andy Dalton worth 115 million dollars?
