The Oklahoma City Thunder has been living with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook carrying their offense. Right now they are in a 2-0 hole against the San Antonio Spurs. With all of the Thunder struggles is Scott Brooks to blame for all of this?
From the outside looking in, it looks like the Oklahoma City Thunder doesn't run an offense but instead runs two plays 1) Kevin Durant make something happen and 2) Russell Westbrook make something happen. Looking at the Thunder starting 5, it consists of Durant, Westbrook, and 3 non scoring players.
Scott Brooks seems to be set in his ways. A prime example of this is starting Kendrick Perkins. Perkins is a low post defender with absolutely no offensive skills and yet Brooks still starts him even if he hurts the team.
The media hasn't been vocal on the dissatisfactory job Scott Brooks is doing except for Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard.
So tell me what you think, is Scott Brooks to blame for the Thunder struggles?
